I had a pollo en salsa verde and a pastor quesadilla. The chicken one wasn't anything special, kinda bland. The pastor on the other hand was mindblowing. Loved the seasoning, the meat to cheese ratio. I could have had a few more of those, kinda addictive stuff. Will surely visit again if in town!
Food is worth it. Not all of it feels authentic, but had Asada con Nopales and that was worth it! Set-up is good looking, service was particularly good.
Atmospherewise... Well loud inside, loud on the terrace, and that can get a bit annoying.
Better to come by public transport as the parking situation is a bit complicated in the area. Of course card payments are accepted.
All in all had a nice and recommendable experience. Would return!
Honestly still the best Mexican restaurant in Düsseldorf. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered 4 different quesadillas (pastor, picadillo, pollo con rajas, tinga) and none of them were spicy enough for our taste. But we understand some people cannot handle it. It was still very good though. Portions were perfect. Very satisfied.
On another note, very pet-friendly.

Delicious homemade fresh food. Friendly service even the restaurant was full. But it was difficult to find a comfort table at the nice corner. Lucky that we still could have the space for dining.

I didn't have any expectations for eating Mexican in Germany but this was a really pleasant surprise. To start, the atmosphere and space was great. Clean, colorful and options to sit inside or out on the large patio. The food was surprisingly (to me anyway) fantastic. Service was also very good. Didn't have any drinks so I can't speak to that.
Today i finally made it to casita mexicana for the first time and it worth the effort to tell the truth. First the atmosphere is so cozy and waiters are quite friendly. I tried vegetarian Quesadilla as it seemed more juicy and it was the best i ate in Dusseldorf so far. The portions are more than enough for one. Next time i will try other options in the menu for sure.
Arguably the best place to visit in Düsseldorf. The food is so good I beg my friends and family to go. Most employees speak Spanish (English too!) and I often try to practice my Spanish with them, and they are all wonderful people with great hospitality. The decor inside is very unique, almost rustic, with the Latin vibe. They offer menus in multiple languages, which is always good. The staff always look like they are having fun. My favourite dish is the tacos asada (with extra cheese) but I also love the burritos and quesadillas. The menu is a simple build-your-own style which allows everyone to enjoy something. The Mexican culture shines through in every aspect of this restaurant. It is truly a great place to eat.
